LAND2SEA TRAVEL
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Please review these terms along with the proposal, invoice, supplier conditions, and any separate planning agreement provided for your trip. Ask Megan about anything that is unclear before authorizing planning or payment. Submitting an inquiry through this website does not confirm a reservation or authorize a charge.
1. Travel planning and suppliers
Land2Sea Travel provides personalized travel planning and helps arrange travel services. Airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation companies, and other independent suppliers provide the travel services themselves. Their booking conditions apply to their services alongside any terms separately agreed with Land2Sea Travel. Please review all applicable conditions before booking.
2. Personalized planning fee
A $150 planning fee applies to personalized trip planning. This supports the time spent understanding your preferences, researching destinations and suitable options, and developing your journey. Before paid planning begins, Megan will explain the scope of work, when payment is due, and any cancellation or refund conditions in writing. Whether the fee is credited toward a booking will also be confirmed in writing; no credit should be assumed. Any additional planning work or fee requires your agreement before it is charged.
3. Quotes, availability, and payments
Quotes are subject to availability and may change before confirmation. Review the inclusions, exclusions, currency, taxes, and any locally payable charges shown in your proposal. A booking is confirmed only when the supplier issues confirmation and its required payment conditions are met. Deposits, final payment dates, and payment methods will be stated in your booking documents. Missing a supplier’s payment deadline may result in cancellation or additional charges under the disclosed booking conditions.
4. Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Contact Megan promptly in writing if you need to change or cancel a booking arranged through Land2Sea Travel. For urgent requests, also call 816-863-5784. Request acknowledgment so you know your message has been received. For bookings made directly through an outside booking engine, follow that provider’s change and cancellation process.
Supplier fees, refund eligibility, and deadlines vary by booking and will be described in the applicable terms. Some fares or deposits may be nonrefundable. Any separate Land2Sea Travel change or cancellation fee must be disclosed and agreed before it applies. Refunds remain subject to applicable law; nothing on this page removes a mandatory consumer right or makes a legally required refund dependent on supplier discretion.
For air travel, consult the U.S. Department of Transportation’s refund guidance. The party responsible for a refund may depend on who processed the purchase.
5. Traveler details and documents
Provide accurate traveler names and details, and review confirmations promptly for errors. Names should match the travel identification you will use. Travelers are responsible for obtaining and carrying the required passports, visas, entry authorizations, and other documents for their nationality and itinerary, including transit stops. Verify requirements with the relevant government authorities before booking and again before departure. See the U.S. Department of State’s international travel checklist.
6. Travel protection
Consider travel insurance appropriate to your trip and circumstances. Insurance is not included unless expressly listed in your confirmation. Coverage, exclusions, eligibility, purchase deadlines, and claims decisions are governed by the insurer’s policy. Review the policy and direct coverage questions to the insurance provider. Purchasing insurance does not guarantee that every cancellation or loss will be covered.
7. Special requests and accessibility
Tell Megan about accessibility needs, dietary requirements, and other important requests before booking so suitable options can be explored. A request is not a confirmed arrangement until the supplier confirms it. Discuss medical advice, fitness to travel, and health precautions with a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Group journeys and itinerary changes
Group departures may have trip-specific conditions, including minimum participation, deposits, payment schedules, and cancellation rules. These will be provided with the trip’s booking information. Weather, operational issues, safety concerns, or other disruptions may affect routes, ports, schedules, accommodations, or activities. Available alternatives and refunds depend on the circumstances, the applicable booking terms, and the law.
9. Independent services and disruptions
Land2Sea Travel does not operate or control independent suppliers and cannot guarantee their performance or uninterrupted travel. If a problem occurs, contact the supplier and Megan promptly so available assistance can be explored. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights and remedies available under applicable law.
10. Outside websites and booking engines
This website links to independent booking engines and travel protection providers. Transactions on those websites are subject to their own terms and privacy notices. Review those documents and retain your confirmations. Contact Megan if you are unsure whether a reservation was made through Land2Sea Travel or directly with another provider.
11. Updates and booking agreements
This page may be updated for future inquiries and bookings. An update does not by itself change an existing agreement. Keep copies of the terms and booking documents supplied when you authorize your trip. If documents appear inconsistent, ask for clarification before proceeding.
